Joseph!

OK, so for those who haven't heard, we have a new addition to our family. Here's just a few pictures we've taken of Joseph, both alone and with the rest of his family. :)

Joseph sticking his tongue out at daddy, both our handsome boys, and our girls with their new brother.

Kylie happily holding her little brother, and Joseph taking a peek at the world.

Here's the new (again) Dad and Mom taking turns holding the new bundle of joy on the day we were set free from the hospital!

and finally, 2 close-ups of the little man.

He was 8 lb, 10 oz. 21 inches. Born December 18 at 6:18 pm. Mom and Joseph are both doing well, tired of course! We're all glad to be home, and thank you for all those who prayed that things would go well! We're so relieved that they did!

Jared's 31st Bday

Amazing how time flies! Insistent that he doesn't have many birthday's left, he wanted a "fancy" cake. And wow was it good! Thank you Kneaders for the few extra pounds. It was very hard to resist. You can see in one of the pictures, he's trying to accommodate picky children lol. Then it was time to open his few presents. One of his favorites was a Nerf gun, "Buzzsaw" that Kylie chose for him. All the kids sure loved playing with it, although its loud winding it up... I won't be looking forward to that when we have a baby in the house again! And finally, he seems to be happy and pleased with his gifts (although I think he liked the cake more than the presents!)

We had a fun time in Yuma, very busy busy the whole weekend.

Sara's 2nd Birthday

Well our little girl turned 2 the beginning of the month! Here are just a few of the pictures from her special day. First, snuggling with her mommy, awwww... she can be SO sweet! Then she's checking out the camera, she loves when Daddy takes pictures of her. Next, her favorite present! She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Channel, so we got her a small stuffed Mickey and Minnie. Immediately, she was playing with them. And she is SUCH a girl... she was getting them to kiss, going "awwww"!!! Too funny!

And lastly, she just can't wait to blow out those candles and have some cake! I had to keep my hand in between her and the cake while we sang happy birthday. She was yelling at us to stop the whole time, just wanted the cake! It's gonna be a long terrible-twos lol.

Trip to Yuma

We went to Yuma this past weekend, and had a lot of fun! Just a few pictures from the action packed weekend! First, we had a birthday party/carnival for the three cousins who turned 2 within the last month. (Morgan, TJ, and Sara). Look at our Kylie go, out-jumping her cousins in a sack race. WOW! And little Jared, having fun trying to catch up. The kids got their faces painted, got some balloon animals (my sisters learned how to do a few basic things for this party), and had some good snacks and cake.

Later that weekend, the kids were all on the trampoline (well, one of MANY times)... and we all know about static electricity and hair. Jared took some really good pictures of Sara with crazy hair, but this one takes the cake!! You can't help but just DIE of laughter looking at her in this one. This is the Sara we know and love, but most people rarely see! :) Where's your war face? (as her daddy always asks) She looks like she's ready for battle!! :)

New Camera!

We bought a new camera, just in time for my brother-in-laws graduation from Marine Corps Boot Camp. Jared wanted to get really good action pictures, and none of our other cameras would take decent ones. So of course we had to test out the camera, make sure we knew how to use it BEFORE graduation. :) So here are some of my favorite pictures of the kids.

This is the first one I took of Sara. She was asleep when the camera came. I heard her wake up while I was playing with the camera, ran up to get her, and took the picture! I love that crazy bed-head! :) The next one is our typical little almost 2-year old. Very frustrated and almost always crying. She's too cute!

Then our son... sticking out his tongue... boys! :)

Then we realized, after 2 days of playing, Kylie had always been at school or doing homework, so we didn't have any of her! So dad took a few, and I really liked the one of her leaning against the couch. The one on the right, very funny story. We bought a case with pick-n-pluck foam to keep the camera and lenses safe. Kylie broke apart all the pieces of foam I took out of the case, and gave herself "french fry" hair, I believe she called it. Silly girl!!

Jared's 4th Birthday

Here's a few pictures from little Jared's birthday party. We just happened to be in Yuma, so he got to have all his cousins there!

Kids with Cameras...

It's funny the things you find.  Kylie received a digital camera (cheap, used one) for her birthday last year.  Much cheaper than her using rolls of film all the time.  Well just last week, Jared uploaded all her pics onto the computer, so her memory card has room for more.  Here's one of many self-pictures I found, plus one I must have taken shortly after she got it.  Cuz heaven knows, Sara has a ton more hair than that!  :)  Just thought I'd share.

Delay in adding on

Sorry there is such a large gap in posting. My computer decided it no longer wants to connect to the internet, and since all my photos are on there... wasn't much for me to do. Finally confiscated hubby's puter, which also has all the photos on it. :) So I should be able to keep up on this a little better. :)

The kids on Christmas Day 2007. And their favorite gift, a new slide. The best money I ever spent on a toy! They were so happy to have it! :)

First Lost Tooth!

Kylie was so happy! She lost her first tooth over the Christmas break. I guess it's the average way to lose a tooth... eating an apple! She has another one lose, and can't wait for it to fall out. She keeps telling me she needs to eat an apple again, so it will fall out!
